No Dicks Allowed - Progress Over Performance - Do Right by the Outcome - Protect the Energy Advantage
We don't tolerate assholes internally or externally. We refuse to work with people who treat others as tools or who profit by screwing others over. If you wouldn't want to be treated that way, don’t do it to someone else. This is our filter for every person we hire and every individual we support.
While we have grace for the struggle, we have no room for stagnation or excuses. We do not accept problems as a hall pass to let people down. When we commit to doing something, we find a way to get it done, and we stay focused on the path forward, because momentum matters more than perfection.
We do what is best for those impacted by our work, even when it's hard. If we misstep, we own it, and we always prioritize outcome over ego. This is why we refuse to push a product or event just to make money; if it doesn't work for the people living with it, we don't do it.
Energy, not time, is our most valuable resource. We believe in building a life and a career that you don’t need a weekend to recover from. We prioritize work that sparks energy and actively offload the things that drain it—for our team and the people we support. Passionate brilliance only happens when you aren't running on empty.

Matthew serves as Grow Disrupt’s Head of Customer Experience, making sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly for both the team and the community. A retired Air Force police officer, he brings a calm, practical mindset to the fast-moving world of events, fulfillment, and operations.
Matthew is also Stephanie’s trusted sanity check, often helping turn ambitious ideas into real-world systems that actually work. At events, he’s the person quietly keeping an eye on everything—making sure guests are taken care of before they even realize they need something.
He jokingly refers to his unofficial title as the “Fulfillment and Receiving Trustee,” claiming it allows him to “fart around all day”—though the team knows he’s actually the one making sure everything gets done. Outside of work, Matthew enjoys building intricate brick-toy creations and reading a good sci-fi novel.
